An Indian Administrative
Service (IAS) officer of 1985 batch, Arun Goyal was
appointed as the Director, FIU-IND
on March 30, 2006. He brings to FIU-IND his experience in Finance,
International Trade, Management and Administration. During the last 21 years in Government, he has held various
important positions in both State and Central Government in areas of
Finance, Commerce, Energy, Industry, Tourism etc. Prior to present assignment , he was Special Secretary
(Power), Government of National Capital Territory and Chairman
and Managing Director, Delhi Transco Limited.
He is a graduate In Electrical
Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering and Post Graduate in
Management (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He
is also has a Post Graduate in Economics and a Post Graduate in
Development Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow (U.K.). |
